To my four-thousand plus subscribers: I hope you see this one and enjoy it. Originally premiering on my band’s YouTube Channel last evening, this is the complete second set of our last concert performance, before the day the (live) music died. To keep our fan base engaged, I produced this “2020 Pandemic Classic Rock Concert” with footage recorded from the show, along with the 16-track digital master that was mixed down to stereo. I recorded, mixed and produced the whole thing myself.

I’ve been doing these singing vocal impressions for about 11 years now, 9 of them with the band. If you think it’s tough molding my voice to try and sound like the original artist, imagine having to change it up every three or four minutes and try to sing sounding like someone completely different. In the past, we’ve gone from the Immigrant Song when I’m shrieking like Robert Plant, right into Barry White’s “Can’t Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe”. It’s fun, but it’s also very taxing. I just turned 60-years-old in January, 2020 and don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to do this, so I just wanted to share what I can, when I can, for as long as I can. UPDATE: This turned out to be our second to last concert – forever. The band broke up June 8, 2020.
Comments welcome. Now, sit back, relax, and listen to this on something good, because the sound quality of the mix is pretty good, if I may say so myself. Stay safe! Stay healthy! Cheers.
